Bengaluru, Mar 6: Social activist, Dinesh Kallahalli, who created a sensation by claiming to be in possession of sex CD involving minister Ramesh Jarkiholi who has since resigned, took the Cubbonk Park police here by surprise by appearing for enquiry on Friday March 5. He had written to the police stating that he was prepared to attend the police questioning on March 9 subject to providing police security. By visiting the police on Friday afternoon unexpectedly, he surprised the police.

Polcie inspector B Maruthi, assistant commissioner of police Yathiraj and deputy commissioner of police, M N Anuchet, questioned Dinesh, who came at 1.30 pm, till 5.30 pm.

On this occasion, Dinesh told the media that he does not know the aggrieved girl personally. He said he has given all information relating to the episode. He said he has not even seen the girl's face. He claimed that the relatives of the lady had given him the CD on the basis of which he had filed the complaint.

He welcomed the statement of Kumaraswamy that no one should be blackmailed. He said he was not blackmailing anyone and that he had complained on behalf of the aggrieved lady and that he came for enquiry even though no security was provided to ensure that investigation should not be hampered.

A police team has been formed to identify the lady. Attempts are being made to find out her mobile number and other details. In the meantime, sources said that during the enquiry, Dinesh did not provide any information about the distressed lady and people who handed over the CD to him. He said he was given the CD by the family members of the lady at his lodge and he does not know whether and where it has been edited. He reportedly said that if the lady claims to have indulged in consensual sex, he will file case against those who furnished him the CD.
