Mangaluru: International Women’s Day observed at Srinivas College of Pharmacy Valachil

Mangaluru, Mar 8: Indian Pharmaceutical Association of DK, local branch, here, in association with Srinivas College of Pharmacy on March 8 organised 'International Women’s Day'.

The programme was inaugurated by Aruna B P, an advocate in the city. She explained to the young women that women empowerment is for the benevolence of women to fight against odds, check personality and carry responsibility in life. On the occasion, he hoped the gathering could face hardship bravely and exhibit resilience in problems with a smile by concealing their worries in their heart and becoming strong women.

Dr A R Shabaraya, principal of Srinivas College of Pharmacy and president of Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Mangaluru, advised to adopt 'choose to challenge' which means until and unless we challenge our fears there will be no change in society.

Dr Padmavathi P Prabhu, professor, Bhavyashree T, assistant professor of Srinivas College of Pharmacy Mangaluru and student council president, Sharvani were present during the programme.

Dr Padmavathi P Prabhu, professor coordinated the programme. Ashwini Nayak welcomed and introduced the gathering. Anusha, Anuja and Iyer Dhanya anchored the programme and Mayble Mary proposed the vote of thanks.
