Bahrain: Two Die in Accidents


MANAMA, Jul 11 (GDN): Two men were killed in separate accidents in Bahrain yesterday.

Bangladeshi Kalam Late Mohammed Billal Hossen, 32, was killed instantly when he fell two storeys from a building under construction in Budaiya.

Indian Madhavan Sudersanan, 51, was killed on the spot when the mobile crane he was driving clipped a crash barrier and overturned, in Hidd, at around 5.45am.

Civil Defence teams had to cut his body from the wreckage, after the crane arm crushed his cab.

Sudersanan, from Trivandrum, Kerala, leaves wife and two children.

Hossen was from the city of Komilla in south-east Bangladesh and came to Bahrain 10 months ago, said sources.

He leaves behind his mother Raziya Khatoon, 55, wife Fatima, 25, son Raqeeb, four, and twin daughters, aged two.
