Bahrain:  Petals International Bahrain Organizes 7A Side Soft- Ball Cricket Tourney

Bahrain, Jul 11:  Petals International Bahrain organized a 7A side soft- ball cricket tournament at the Indian club here, recently.

Six invitee men’s team and four ladies teams participated in the tournament. On the final day the former Indian international wicket- keeper Padmashree Syed Kirmani and well- known commentator Charu Sharma were present as guests.



They informed the cricket lovers that soon Bahrain will have a cricket stadium and the Ruling Family of Kingdom of Bahrain is very much interested to have cricket matches and tournaments in Bahrain.

In the finals, the Riffa Cricketers defeated OBM Cricketers and bagged the grand trophy and Kannada Sangha ladies team defeated Fresh Berries team

Iqbal Riffa CC was named the the Man of the Match, Richard Riffa CC, Man of the Tournament, Anwar Mohd OBM the Best Batsman of the Tournament, Richard Riffa CC Best Bowler of the Tournament, Shalini Kanada Sangha, Lady of the Match Purnima Kanada Sangha, Lady of the Tournament and Best Bats Lady and Deena Papillon the, Best Lady Bowler.  
   
The entire event was organized by Anand Lobo and Ajay Kumar was the commentator.
