Mangaluru, Mar 12: Exhibition-cum-sale of branded garments and shoes of over a hundred companies has been organized for the first time in the city under a single roof.

This exhibition-cum-sale will be on between March 12 and 14 at TMA Pai Convention Centre from 10 am to 9 pm. Unbelievable discount of up to 80 percent is being offered, which effectively means making available goods at a price that is less than the cost of production. The sale will be on for only three days, and customers are requested to make the best use of the opportunity.

On account of the ill-effects of coronavirus pandemic, lockdown was announced at various parts of the country, as a result of which garments and shoes worth crores of rupees remained unsold in the godowns. This fair has been organized to enable the companies to dispose of their stock at a concessional price.

Garments that are normally sold in retail for Rs 4,000 are available at this fair for as less as Rs 350 to Rs 550. Branded formal shirts are available for only Rs 650 to Rs 1,000. Branded pure leather shoes are being offered for as little as Rs 1,200 per pair.

Companies which have earned fame and name for themselves in the country and abroad will be participating in the fair. This will be a golden opportunity for the customers to buy things at a huge concession. As the fair is being organized in TMA Pai Convention Centre in the city, there is a spacious parking lot. The customers can make use of credit and debit cards and other digital payment facilities to buy things of their choice at the fair.
