Mangaluru: Bishop administers Sacrament of Confirmation on 75 children at Paldane church

Mangaluru, Mar 13: Bishop of Mangaluru, Dr Peter Paul Saldanha has administered the sacrament of confirmation on 75 children at Paldane St Theresa Church. He earlier explained the importance of the sacrament and prayed for the courtesy of the Holy Spirit.

The bishop who led the celebration of Holy Mass said that everybody should live in peace and harmony. “We will definitely have the help of the Holy Spirit when we pray to him when in distress,” he said.

Parish priest Fr Alban D’Souza, diocese judicial vicar Fr Walter D’Mello, vice president of the parish pastoral council William Lobo, secretary Austin Monteiro and others were present.
