Ask Kejriwal why no woman in his cabinet, BJP urges DCW

New Delhi, Mar 19 (IANS): The Delhi BJP on Thursday urged the chairperson of Delhi Commission of Women (DCW), Swati Maliwal, to issue a notice to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, asking him the reasons for not having any woman minister in his cabinet.

The DCW had issued a notice to the Delhi Police Commissioner seeking reasons for no female Station House Officer (SHO) at any police station in the city.

 

In a letter to Maliwal, Delhi BJP Vice President Virendra Sachdeva appreciated her concern and said that she should also send a notice to Kejriwal asking him reasons for not including any woman in his cabinet.

"Every government in Delhi since 1993 to 2014, had women ministers. But with the formation of his government in February 2015, Kejriwal has discontinued this tradition despite having several women MLAs in his party," Sachdeva said.

Sachdeva has urged Maliwal to send a similar notice to Kejriwal asking about the absence of women representation in his Cabinet.

    All politicians are same they are good in preaching in reality they are different, first ask him to pass a law in Delhi assembly reserving 50 percent the seats for women and then modi can replicate the same at center who will stop them both of them have brute majority.

    kejriwal is he biggest hypocrite around. for three years in running, delhi ranks as the most polluted city in the world. He will blame Modi and everyone else,except himself for the condition of delhi. Cunning fellow managed to get elected again.

    Delhi is polluted because Kejriwal farted ? Hello Sir, find out the source of pollution drifted into Delhi. Farmers in neighbor states are banned from burning wheat stubble still they are doing it slyly at night times. This is carried by winds to the city and you are blaming Kejriwal for this ?

    In delhi government governor has more power to governer. Why lady governor BJP central government appoint in Delhi. Why BJP can send people home who are in government and deserted their lady companion

    Because Kejriwal doesn't want women who sat on the road with empty gas cylinder during UPA rule but in BJP rule have no voice. Were horse-mouthed about DLF land deal but when own husband's property 'hadap' comes up, they have 'no comments'. Who are in Chennai campaigning for Assembly elections and boasting about women/child safety measures taken but in Gorakhpur a woman delivers twins in a toiled. We don't want hypocrites as ministers.
