Mangaluru: Covid awareness campaign held by City College of Nursing

Mangaluru, Mar 23: In line with the directions issued by the district health officer, Dakshina Kannada, the NSS volunteers of City College of Nursing led by the NSS programme officer Merlin Jinto, in association with PHC, Shakthinagar organised a Covid awareness campaign to contain the Covid resurgence in the region.

As a part of the campaign, a rally originated from Shakthinagar PHC at 11 am comprising of the NSS volunteers displaying banners, posters and educating the local populace en route on the significance of masking, hand hygiene and social distancing.

Undoing the misinformation on vaccination was also given due importance during the campaign. The rally culminated at City College campus at 12 pm. Madhushree, the HOD of community health department, ASHA workers and the staff nurses of PHC participated in the campaign.
