Beltangady: Student attempts to end life - Succumbs to internal injuries

Beltangady, Mar 24: A girl student of a private college in the taluk, who had consumed poison 10 days ago, in a bid to end her life, died on Tuesday March 23.

Vincy (20), daughter of Gandibagilu Devagiri Chenapalli Viju, had consumed some toxic thing and attempted to end her life, 10 days ago. She was admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru. Though she was treated for 10 days, she could not recover and died on Tuesday, March 23.

Vincy was pursuing her final BCom in a college in the city. The exact reason for the extreme step is not known.

A case in this regard is registered at Dharmasthala police station.

    Very sad for the family .So long gave care to their child brought up with pain and lot of love.Now had to leave off when she slowly turns a young lady.Heartfelt sympathy .I am sure parents must be knowing but not want to public about it.It is ok and their right.When really dont know ,hear from her best friends,around or might have written in a dairy?+she took her secrets to grab.she was a teen girl,any love affair failed?depression,no good notes?Only she knows.May God forgive her faults and give eternal rest in Heaven.Parents kindly give attention to your children.Money is not everything.Hear their sorrows.lonely children are more tend to depression.and to suicide

    Governments should make it mandatory for appointing counsellors in every school right from kindergarten up to Post Graduation. This is required to save lives so that both boys and girls get an opportunity to share their woes at home and in their institution.

    RIP. Vincy, Life is short but you made it shorter foe reasons best known to. Her parents must be heart broken the most as they gave her a good life and above all a good education which most children have not got that. My deepest condolences to her parents, loved ones, and you name it.

    Today the entire world is going through a worse times in living history. Scientific knowledge and experiments are rapidly going ahead or advancing in the mean time the man made calamities. I have worse experience how it effects, loosing our loved and dear ones. But there is now escape. all depends on ones written destiny. when, how & why no question mark.

    Flavian...yes dear....ten days she suffered and that made her to feel more painful on the last days of her journey....We cant reach everyone personally but, can remember all in our prayers and their safety especially we should pray for few minutes for those who get suicidal thoughts. May departed soul of Vinci rest in peace...Amen....Condolences to all who are grieving for her.

    Belthangady is prone zone for the teen girls ! many are disappeared or suicided !! Gals please wake up and learn from the others mistake. Parents keep a watch on your child ! its one life not be wasted because of some predators in that zone.
