Bantwal: Accident at Mani claims auto rickshaw driver's life

Bantwal, Mar 27: In a macabre accident involving a car and an auto rickshaw which happened at the Kodaje road bend of Mani-Mysuru state highway, the auto rickshaw driver died on the spot.

The accident happened on Saturday March 27 between a car that was moving towards Puttur from Mani and the auto rickshaw that was bound for Mani from the direction of Kodaje.

The auto rickshaw driver killed in the accident has been identified as Ammi from Panthadka, Kodaje. The auto driver's wife who was seated in the passenger seat, escaped with injuries to her leg. She stands admitted into hospital. 

Due to the impact of the collision, the auto rickshaw got deposited over the car. Both the vehicles were badly mangled in the accident.

    First take some relief & learn the difference between International Driving system & non international driving system. Go visit UAE or US and see how it works what man you are ? don't you know we don't have super 4 lane Highways plus 6 lanes are only in express ways like mumbai - Pune / yamuna expressway etc. Traffic system & driving in india is still not standardized as per international standards.
