Mangaluru: RTI activist to file complaint with CID against sub-inspector

Mangaluru, Mar 27: RTI activist Dinesh Ganiga on Saturday March 27 said that he will file a complaint with CID officials against the now suspended sub-inspector (SI) Kabbal Raj, urging them to probe into his alleged misconduct, misuse of power and disproportionate assets, when he was the SI at various police stations.

He was addressing media at the press club here on Saturday March 27.

He also said that in this regard, he had filed a complaint with Anti-Corruption Bureau officials. "In addition to this, I will also file a complaint with CID officials, urging them to probe into the alleged misconduct, misuse of power, and a disproportionate assets when he was serving as SI at various police stations."

Ganiga also said that the official is already under suspension for allegedly selling a seized luxury car in Mangaluru.

"I have written to chief minister B S Yediyurappa to withdraw the Chief Minister's medal given to him," he said.

    It's look like fighting battle lonely.... If there is a truth SI should bear the burnt.... But I have little doubt too.... why this RTI Activist running after this SI Only..... If you talk about corruptions....then he can find many more people everywhere else too!!! Go to Maharashtra.... it looks like entire ruling MLAs' are busy in accumulating the wealth since they know very well that.... there is no second chance for that alliance

    CID ,ACB etc are members of the same clan as the accused. I agree with Francis Lobo that corruption is rampant at many places. Apart from the Kadaba RTI activist, we know what happened to the Vinayak Baliga murder case. It is said wheels of justice grind slowly,but I doubt whether they grind at all....

    The government has become blind to corruption. What happened to the Kadaba RTI activist case is an indication of the bad governance in the state. Last week one journalist exposed the corruption of the traffic inspector and so far nothing happened. Even there is no inquiry. The politicians have won the election and everyone is above law now.
