Bantwal, Mar 29: Vittal police arrested one person on the accusation of enticing and sexually harassing a minor boy.
According to the details available, the minor boy had gone to a private programme at Bantwal Idkidu under Vittal police station limits at around 10.30 pm on March 27. The victim boy was enticed by Hameed Maula, resident of Kabaka and taken to a house near the place where the private programme was being held and sexually harassed him.

The boy managed to escape from the clutches of Hameed Maula and informed the matter to his parents. The accused was arrested by the Vittal police as per the complaint filed by the victim's father.
A case under POCSO is registered against the accused.
