The police officer Reena Baxal has done the right thing. She followed rules. A person cannot travel on a two-wheeler without helmet. There should be NO EXCUSE whatsoever. Only then India will become more disciplined. 150,000 people die on Indian roads each year through bad road sense. Besides, 3 kms is not a long distance. By suspending her, the senior officer is confusing the police.
