Mangaluru, Apr 7: As a part of Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bengaluru, the City Group of Institutions comprising of City College of Nursing, City College of Allied Health Sciences, City College of Physiotherapy & Kailkere Rukmini Shetty College of Nursing collectively held a Walkathon on the occasion of World Health Day on April 7 from City Enclave, Shakthinagar to Primary Health Centre, Shakthinagar and back between 9 AM and 11 Am.
About 700 students, members of the faculty & administrative staff participated in the event. The objective was to draw attention towards the importance of global health.
The staff of Kankanady Police station and traffic police, Mangaluru South oversaw the safety of students along the route.
