Politicisation, criminalisation offshoots of Mamata rule: BJP

New Delhi, Apr 7 (IANS): A day after the third phase of polling in West Bengal which witnessed incidents of violence, the BJP on Wednesday said that politicisation of administration and criminalisation of politics are two big offshoots of 10 years of Mamata Banerjee's rule in the state.

In a series of tweets, BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santhosh said, "Three phases of elections have witnessed 100 times more violence than four other states that went to polls put together."

Along with West Bengal, Assembly polls were also held in Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry. While polling has ended in all the four states, five phases of polling are still left in West Bengal.

"If not for ordinary voters, neutral election commission, vigilant central security forces this election would be like another Panchayat election where more than 20 thousand TMC workers got elected unopposed, only 34 per cent polling happened," he said.

In another tweet, Santhosh claimed that more than 2000 workers of West Bengal BJP who dared to contest and win had to shelter in neighbouring states for months together. "Even this election more than a dozen BJP workers have been killed, 14 West Bengal BJP candidates have been attacked," Santhosh said.

He further said that more than 1,000 violent incidents took place on three election days in Bengal, in more than 100 booths central forces had to ensure level playing field amidst non cooperation from local police and administration.

"None of this will be told to you by Derek O' Brien, Yashwant Sinha or Jaya Bachchan who are in a hurry to Save Democracy and will not tell the nation who is harming it. Voters in every village and mohalla want peaceful and fearless elections. They are fighting tooth and nail for it," he added.

The BJP needs to respond to peoples concerns on issues facing the common man rather than keep finding fault with States as their six years rule has taken the country backwards by six decades. 1. What about Farmers issues. How many farmers have died in the protests. 2. What about Grave situation of unemployment. 3. What about Demonitisation and the devastation of all small business men. 4. What about the Negative growth of the economy. 5. What about all round corruption and where is the Lokpal. 6 What about the Lynchings. 7. What about the sale of all Govt Undertakings to Crony Capitalists. 8. What about Hate Politics. 9. What about Rapes and crimes against women across the country. 10. What about Farmers suicides and deaths across the country. 11. What about all the constitutional authorities. 12 What about the Supreme Court. 13. What about the price of essential commodities and petrol and diesel. 14 The List is endless and our country is virtually on the Brink. Is even one Minister talking about the six years rule of the BJP at the center. No because its been all round failures on virtually every front. High time people opt for an alternative to the BJP to save our country.

Could you please describe your rule?????.......Your rule is exactly opposite of constitution to start with. Ask hardworking, tax paying and law biding ordinary neutral citizens and their plight.
