Udupi: Agri Gold Initiates to Spread Greenery

Udupi, Jul 29: With the purpose of planting saplings throughout the nation, the Agri Gold Green of India organized a programme, here on Tuesday July 27.


The procession started from City Bus Stop and proceeded to Martyr’s Memorial at Ajjarakadu ground where a sapling was planted and then the saplings were freely distributed to people to plant at their respective homes.

Local MLA Raghupati Bhat, Forest department official Prakash Poojary, office-bearers of Association of Former Servicemen, Agri gold Foundation representatives Prakash S Devadiga, Leeladhar B Devadiga, Mohan Bhat, S Hegde and Narasimha Raju were present. Raghavendra Kumble compered the programme.
