Mangaluru, Apr 9: In an accident that occurred at Kuthar under Naguri traffic police station limits, between a bus and a bike, the bike rider was killed and while the pillion riders sustained injuries.
Mohammed Shafi (20), a resident of Polali is the deceased person. Pillions Mohammed Imran (20), resident of Ranipura and Mohammed Mauseen (23), resident of Kalladka have been seriously injured.
Deceased and his friends were going to Ranipura to meet one of their friends. While the bike reached Koragajjana Katte at Kuthar, the bus in a bid to overtake hit the bike. All three bike-borne men were admitted to private hospitals. Shafi succumbed to injuries on the morning of Friday, April 9.
A case in this regard is registered in Naguri police station.
