KUWAIT, Aug 1 (Ara News): The Ministry of Communications(MoC) has asked for an extension to the time-limit placed to prepare a dossier on the proposed railway project till next November, officials said. He noted that the project will be discussed as part of those that have been proposed for the current year.
Officials also noted that the ministry had asked a legal technical committee to review and study the project, the prices quoted and the companies that are capable of executing it according to international standards.
This is in addition to studying a report filed by the Environment Public Authority (EPA) as per the Cabinet's instructions. Furthermore, officials highlighted that some interested international companies had requested that the bidding for the project's tender be postponed so that it is held after conducting necessary pilot studies.
