Mumbai, Apr 16: A Covid vaccination centre was opened at Choksi Hospital, Marve Road, Malad west on Friday April 16. North Mumbai Borivli MP Gopal C Shetty inaugurated the facility.
“Vaccination is one of the ways to protect us from coronavirus. Every citizen should make use of the facility and remain healthy. The health of the citizens is the health of the nation,” he said.
“Close contact is risky. Wearing a mask is essential to safeguard ourselves. We should be alert about the prevention and control of the pandemic. Everybody has the responsibility to observe the covid protocol,” he said.
The centre was opened under the leadership of local civic worker Sunil Koli. Mumbai district BJP president Ganesh Khanker, secretary Vinod Shelar, BJP’s Deepak Joshi, Narendra Rathod and officials of the Mandal ward were present.
