Mangaluru: One arrested for misbehaving with traffic policeman

Mangaluru, Apr 17: One person was arrested for misbehaving with traffic policeman on Saturday April 17.

The arrested has been identified as Jagan (23) from Yekkur.

The incident took place at Collectors Gate, Balmatta.

The accused jumped the signal and was hence stopped by traffic east police personnel Yashwanth Rathod.

The accused then misbehaved with the police personnel in the middle of the road.

The accused has been arrested and will be produced to the court, informed police commissioner N Shashi Kumar.

    First of all there is no signal at collectors gate, secondly none of these will go and say anything to those big shot vehicles parking on the road and blocking just beside collectors gate at the famous hotels

    Its quite funny and shocking. in all other places in Karnataka specially Ghatta one can see people abusing bashing and even hitting cops often, but here in mangalore one cannot even verbally argue with a cop, they will file a case against him for obstruction of official duty....

    Cop could have been doing his truly, sincerely..... but look at the mentality of the commentators...... instead of praising the cop for doing his job.... supporting the culprit.... now you know why so many accidents on the roads...... this is the mentality of Indians caused India to suffer....

    Traffic police are misbehaving with all the transporters and nobody is there to question them. Generally they don't stop private vehicles .
