Kasargod: Covid negative certificate compulsory for people arriving from other states

Kasargod, Apr 19: “Covid negative certificate, RTPCR test or 14 days room isolation is made compulsory for people arriving in Kerala from other states. People arriving from other states should get their names registered in e-Jagratha portal. Those who are vaccinated should also undergo RTPCR test 48 hours before arrival, failing which they should undergo the test immediately after the arrival in Kerala. They should be in room isolation until the test results are obtained. If they have any disease symptoms, they should get themselves examined by a doctor,” stated the state health ministry in the press release.

As many as 622 people were tested positive in the district on Sunday, 162 people were discharged, and 602 people were infected through primary contacts. Six health staff members also are infected. 4,064 people are under treatment. As many as 9,660 people are under observation. A total of 37,372 people were infected so far and 32,968 people were cured.
