Bengaluru: Oxygen shortage - Minister's PA succumbs to COVID19

Bengaluru, Apr 20: H J Ramesh, personal assistant (PA) of education minister, S Suresh Kumar, breathed his last on Monday April 19 due to coronavirus infection. He was being treated at St John's Hospital here from April 13 onward after being diagnosed with COVID infection.

It is said that Ramesh did not get the required quantity of oxygen when he encountered breathing difficulty. A person close to Ramesh wondered what would be the situation of ordinary citizens, going by the fact that the PA of a minister did not get oxygen.

The minister, in his Facebook post, shared his heart-felt grief at the loss of his personal assistant, who had helped many infected persons from his Rajajinagar constituency to get admitted into different hospitals and thereby saved their lives.

Following the information that five legislators were infected with corona, on Monday, former minister and Koppal district Congress president, Shivaraj Tangadagi, has tested positive for coronavirus infection.
