Srinagar, Apr 23 (IANS): A major tragedy was averted on Friday when the security forces detected an improvised explosive device (IED) in J&K's Pulwama district.
Police said an IED was detected by the security forces along the circular road in Pulwama this morning.
"The IED was successfully defused by the security forces thereby averting what could have caused a major tragedy", police sources said.
