Mangalore, Aug 5: Shruthi K, a third semester engineering student (information science) of P A College has won first place in the national level poster- making competition held during the occasion of Earth day - 2010.

Various competitions were held on the occasion of Earth day 2010 at P A College of Engineering in the April. Prize winning posters/drawings were sent to MoES for national level competition.

On the occasion of Foundation day of Ministry of Earth Sciences, Shruthi was awarded by minister for science and technology , Prithviraj Chowhan at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, recently.
