Bengaluru, Apr 27: Nayana Raj has made waves in the Kannada entertainment industry by donning various roles.

Nayana is basically from Hubballi, daughter of Basavaraja and Kamala couple. She completed her education in RPU College, Bengaluru and took her first steps in acting in 2016. She acted in a Kannada movie ‘Banaras’ produced by Jayathirtha who directed the Kannada movie ‘Bell Bottom’. Nayana is playing the lead role in the movie ‘Aavartha’ produced by Vemagal Jagannath. Now, in addition to Kannada, she is acting in a lead role in the daily soap Shrimathi, which is being telecast on a Telugu channel.

Nayana anchored the Chitra Santhe Filmfare award 2019 programme that was telecast live on Udaya TV in 2019. She has also anchored more than 30 stage shows and also in Udaya TV, Sarala Jeevana and Chandana TV.

Nayana is a very good model too. In 2017 she won the International Miss Beautiful 2017 award. She has given more than 16 stage shows of modelling. In addition to anchoring, acting and modelling, Nayana is renowned for her dancing also. She is well-versed in both classical as well as hip hop western style dance forms. She gives dance training to children during her spare time.

Nayana, who has won the hearts of audience because of her acting and speaking abilities, says, "My parents are the inspiration for all my dreams. I will strive to still act in a better manner. My dream is to become a good actress.”
