Mysuru: Man in drunken stupor kills mother, pregnant wife, two children

Mysuru, Apr 29: In a shocking incident, a man under the influence of alcohol killed his mother, pregnant wife and two of his children in the most barbaric manner.

The incident that happened at Swamigoudanahundi village, Saragoor taluk in the district on Wednesday night stunned the people.

Kempananjamma (60), mother of the accused, his pregnant wife Ganga (28) and sons Rohith (4) and Samrat (4) were the unfortunate who lost their lives. Police said that the accused Manikantaswamy drank liquor and killed them by hitting them with an iron rod.

Manikantaswamy is absconding after the murders. The actual reason for the killings is not known. PSI Divya visited the spot and conducted a spot inspection after the police were informed.

The dead bodies are in the house at present. Relatives of the deceased Ganga said that they will not allow for their last rites until the accused is arrested.

A case in this connection is registered at the Saragoor police station. A search is on for the accused.

    very sad .So many lives are lost.Atleast one could escape and go out when such barbaric action was done No neighbours around heard their cry?How sad.And he had that much sense to run after that´But not killing?He should be caught atleast with sniffer dogs.otherwise someone else will again hos opfer.May all souls rest in peace.He should be locked in for ever.Till his alcohol level goes away for ever.Heartfelt sympathy to their familys.He didnt spare mother,,children and Pregnent wife.double murder .Or use same rod on his head ones so that he come to know how it is.
