Udupi, Apr 29: As per the direction of the government, industries, and the industrial institutions (Private & Government), outside the containment zones will be allowed to function while strictly adhering to the Covid-19 protocol, informed DC Jagadeesh in a press release.
"The garment factories and units can function with 50% workforce by adhering to the Covid-19 guidelines. Garment factory workers can use their identity cards to travel to work," he informed.

If anyone failed to adhere to the Covid-19 guidelines, the concerned would be booked under Disaster Management Act, 2005 and Section 188 of IPC, stated a press release.
