Puttur: Sudana School Qualifies for Dist-level Drama Competition Based on Science

Puttur, Aug 8: Sudana Residential School bagged the first place in taluk-level high school science drama competition here on Saturday August 7. It was organized under the aegis of public instructions department.

Indraprastha High School, Uppinangady bagged the second place and Ramakrishna High School bagged the third place. The students of Sudana Residential School staged science version of original Kannada play ‘Kallavvana Kanasu’ by playwright and teacher Ramesh Uliya.

The students of Indraprastha High School staged the science version of original Kannada play ‘Edisonana Mantrika Deepa’ by playwright and journalist Mounesh Vishwakarma, while the students of Ramakrishna High School staged science version of original Kannada play ‘Bidira Betta’ by playwright and stage artiste I K Boluwar who also directed the play.

Sudana School to Compete in District-level Competition

The top winner of taluk level science play competition, Sudana School is qualified for the district-level competition that will be held at Bajpe in Mangalore on Thursday August 12. Bharati Prabhu, Nireeksha, Aajna, Rashmi, Rakshit, Afreez, Sudhesh and Kratesh of Sudhana Residential School performed in the play.
