Khaleda Zia shifted to CCU after breathing issues

Dhaka, May 3 (IANS): Bangladesh Nationalist Party Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia was admitted to the coronary care unit of a private hospital in Dhaka on Monday afternoon, as she was having breathing issues, her personal physician said.

Professor Dr A.Z.M. Zahid Hossain made the announcement.

Khaleda Zia was admitted to a private hospital on April 27 night for some medical tests after she tested positive for Covid-19 for the second time on April 24.
