Mangalore: State’s Coast Remains Dry

Mangalore, Aug 10: Karnataka coast remained dry for most part of Monday August 9, but for intermittent showers for short periods. The highest rain of four cms was recorded in Agumbe in Shimoga district.

While several places in Malnad region received two to three cms of rain, most places on the coast got only one cm. The meteorological department has predicted normal rains coupled with thunder during the next two days in the coast, while well-spread out rain has been predicted in northern hinterlands.
