Bengaluru: Texas Instruments promises to give 86 ICU beds

Bengaluru, May 8: American technology company, Texas Instruments, has promised to donate 86 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds for treatment of Covid patients.

The India head and Managing Director of Texas Instruments Santosh Kumar made the offer when he called on Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa at his official residence in Bengaluru on Saturday.

Rajiv Khushu, Gaurav Jabuli and Sethul Thakrar of Texas Instruments, State Medical Education Department Principal Secretary Anil Kumar, Information and Publicity Department Commissioner Dr P S Harsha, who is also the Nodal Officer for establishment of ICU hospitals, were present on the occasion.
