Under the joint auspices of the Kundapur Rotary Club - Sunrise and Lorry Owners’ Association, a meeting was held here recently calling for the co-operation of all concerned in implementing new traffic regulations.
 
Vishwanat Pandit, deputy superintendent of police, explained the newly-formed traffic regulations and enlightened the gathering on many queries raised by Vinay Pais, president, Press Reporters Association.
 
Journalist John D’Souza called upon the officials to enlighten the public on the traffic regulations in order to avoid accidents due to delay in disseminating the official notice.
 
Madan Gaonker, circle inspector, has assured that he will pay serious attention to the suggestions given by media persons.
 
Rajashekar Hegde, president, Rotary Club - Sunrise, Raviraj, president, Lorry Owners’ Association, Ramachandra, traffic inspector, was present on the dais.
 
Dinakara Shetty delivered the introductory speech on the occasion.
