Udupi: Sanchalana hands over free ambulance service district admin for Covid management

Udupi, May 11: Sanchalana is a voluntary organisation working on various social issues over last 7 years. Some of the projects include planting saplings in memory of war martyrs during the Kargil Vijay Diwas every year, supporting para sportsmen and physically challenged, supporting the youth through Skill development trainings and Job drives, organising blood donation camps and so on.

President of Sanchalana, Prem Prasad Shetty said, "Now during the Covid-19 crisis our organisation has decided to join hands with Udupi district administration by providing a well-equipped ambulance to be run on free basis to help poor patients and general public and also try to extend other service during this pandemic"

Speaking on the occasion the deputy commissioner of Udupi G Jagadeesha and district health officer Dr Sudheer Chandra Sooda thanked Sanchalana and its entire team for extending the help during the emergency and said that their efforts are laudable. Pournami Prem Shetty, Sulochana Shetty, Om Prasad Shetty, Vijay D’Souza and Jeevan Amanna were present on the occasion.
