Mumbai, May 11: “Withdraw the requirement to carry a negative Covid test report for people travelling to Karnataka by air, train and road,” requested Mumbai high court advocate Ratnakar Shetty with the Karnataka state government.

“It has caused harassment, pressure and problems to the travellers. It only brings opportunities for earning income for lab owners. Therefore, I request Karnataka chief minister B S Yediyurappa to withdraw the requirement and allow test free travel for the passengers," he said.

"Other states have laid down no such restrictions for people travelling from Maharashtra. Citizens are permitted to travel as they like without RT-PCR test reports. Therefore, the Karnataka government too should provide this opportunity,” requested Ratnakar Shetty with the Karnataka government.
