Mangaluru: Dr Prajna Ammembala to take over as ADC of DK on May 12

Mangaluru, May 12: Dr Prajna Ammembala would be taking charge as the additional deputy commissioner (ADC) of Dakshina Kannada (DK) district today. The government has appointed Dr Prajna to the vacancy created by the transfer of M J Roopa.

Dr Pajna Ammembala happens to be a KAS officer. She had functioned as general manager of Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Ltd, food and civil supplies deputy director in Bengaluru (western zone), joint director of Kannada and culture department, sub-divisonal officer at Tiptur and KUDA commissioner. She also discharged duty as the special deputy commissioner of Bengaluru Enforcement cell.

Dr Prajna Ammembala is the daughter of Dr Gayatri Navada and Dr A V Navada.
