Kundapur, May 12: Nanja Naik N took charge as the police sub inspector (SI) of Gangolli police station on Tuesday May 11 evening.
In charge SI Prakash Salian handed over the charge to him and wished him best of luck. The post was vacant after the transfer of Gangolli SI Bhimashanker S.
Nanja Naik had served as probationary SI at Gangolli police station for six months, as sub inspector of Karkala rural police station for two years and at Sirsi rural police station for about a year.
