20 members of two families infected in Mangaluru, Kundapur - Stay at home, recover

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, May 14: Eleven members of a family including a child living at Kottara here were infected by coronavirus. But none of them gave up positive attitude, consumed food and medicine as advised by the doctors, and have fully recovered.

Rajgopal Rai (58), and his wife Poornima (54), along with two children and seven guests including a child were infected. Initially, Rajgopal suffered from fever and got tests done as per the advice of the family physician. By then, the others too got infected and the family relied heavily on liquid diet at the advice of the doctor. Poornima not only gave advice to others but also frequently sought the doctor's advice. The family followed the diet of plenty of water, lemon juice, fruits, egg etc.

The family members feel that going to hospital immediately after the infection is confirmed exerts unnecessary pressure on the doctors and nurses and therefore, it is better to get doctor’s advice and get treated at home as far as possible. Poornima says she continuously instilled confidence among the others and kept on checking oxygen level through the oximeter. She says that liquid diet provides very good results in case of infection.

In another incident, all the nine members of a family living in Yadamoge, a backward hamlet in Kundapur taluk, have proved that corona can be subdued if the infected people remain at home and get medical care with doctor’s advice. Sridhar Yadiyal (67), his wife, Indumathi (62) and other members of the family have provided hope to hundreds that corona can be conquered. Two children aged less than ten were among those who were infected but have since returned to good health.

The family, after one of them tested positive on April 29, took medicines as per the doctor's advice, continued to check oxygen level through the pulse oximeter, consume nutritious food apart from hot concoction (Kashaya) and other home remedies.

The family believes that it is important to face the diseases with determination and confidence. "We stayed together and unitedly won the fight. Rather than worrying over infection, it is better to think with clear mind what should be done. We remained at home, got treated, and followed the food diet as advised. We always remained happy and that was the secret of our recovery," Sridhar Yadiyal said.

80 to 90 percent Patients recover without hospitalization. Check oxigen level regularly and taking medicine as prescribed by Doctors will help. Problem is everyone cannot buy oximeter. Monitoring oxigen level is very important if anyone taking treatment at home.

Kindly consult with your physician about diet and medication. Liquid diet may not work for all. Research days food heavy in protein is best during infection and food high in carbs are advised to be avoided.

I read one book by Dr. Biswaroop Roy Choudhary. The book name N.I.C.E. He also suggests liquid diet for 3 days (orange juice, coconut water, Tomato, cucumber etc). And no cooked food for two days.

Yes the Flu Diet has worked successfully for 55000+ times even with patients of comorbid conditions. Doctor couple who got permission from Maharashtra Health Department got permission to treat 4 patients some were in serious danger got healed within 4 days and got negative on 5th day itself. He was denied that permission by Harshwardhan citing WHO protocols. He now got permission from Rajasthan govt to treat them and has set up camps there. He has them at Delhi border and treating farmers for free. My Us friend who had Lupus aged 56 on chemo to suppress her immune system messaged me that she won't survive. I just encouraged her and sent her the diet plan. There was no response from her for 5 days and next day she healed without any medicines at home itself by following the flu diet. Only media doesn't publicise these things. I again call people to stop fearing for a disease that's just like flu with healing rate of 99.997%. Only thing is don't fear or panic and help your body heal itself.

Unfertilized egg is part of vegetarian diet. Same as milk, which is not from plant. But, Vegan diet is strictest. In vegan diet dairy and egg is not used.

Dear readers, it is good to read the story of these families..but please do not try because this might now work for all. Moreover, family from Kottara are known BJP supporters. So this might be propaganda tool also to keep more people away from hospitals so that only the bhakts will get priority in treatment.

If people who "test positive" stay at home they are more likely to survive.Hospital cross infection -viral, bacterial or fungal is more lethal. Underlying illnesses and comorbidities should get more attention than the virus (which is usually forgotten) .One should not panic and rush to hospitals out of fear.Very few serious patients require hospitalization. Panic and fear kills - Jo Dar Gaya , Vo Mar Gaya. Be Happy Be Healthy.
