Beltangady, May 17: A power man of Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd (Mescom) was electrocuted when he was working to repair problems encountered in electric supply connection.

The tragedy happened at Pilinkal in Tekkaru village, Beltangady taluk on Sunday May 16. The deceased, Vikas (26) was a native of Bijapur district. He was assigned work as power man in Kalleri zone.

Vikas has left behind his wife and a one-month-old baby.
