RaGa hopes Modi 'system' will wake up for kids' sake

New Delhi, May 18 (IANS): Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday expressed concern over the Narendra Modi government's preparedness and plans as experts forecast a likely Covid3.0, which could prove deadly for children.

"In the time to come, children will need protection from Corona. Paediatric services and vaccine-treatment protocol should already be in place. India's future needs for the present Modi system to be shaken out of sleep," Gandhi tweeted.

His remarks came after several countries started approving a Covid-19 vaccine for use in children aged 12-15 years.

Congress leader Jaiveer Shergill also tweeted: "Sincerely hope especially for sake of India's children that BJP government is preparing for anticipated 3rd #COVID19 wave beyond giving advice of eating dark chocolate & drinking cow urine..."

"Has a GOI task force of paediatricians been formed? Or the plan is to play the usual helpless card?" Shergill mocked.

In the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, youngsters were badly affected.

On Tuesday, India recorded 4,329 deaths in 24 hours, the highest in a day as 2.63 lakh fresh cases were reported.

    Sir, please join hands in laying down a strategy, plan of action, identification of probable hotspots, identification of mutant variety and tangible vaccine thereof, medical management terms, transportation logistics, etc., lest only the old turks will be living in this country.

    Sanjeev Kamath, Udupi, You must be living in USA aren't you?? This guy keep giving advice/suggestions to government since long time. Does your master sitting in the PM's chair who knows everything in the world never wanted to listen to anybody. The result is here. I think being in USA, you should know there was a person in the US as well who knew everything about Covid and what happened there, more importantly what happened to him. So, leave Indians to suffer in India since they choose an able leader who can give them temples and treat everybody with cow products. Since the change in administration in the US changed the Covid situation, hopefully some blind bhakths like you in India will learn and think about it. I think they are happy to drink and eat cow products. BTW, do you have enough cow products in the USA, I am not talking about meat you know.

    My dear ashwil, Mangalore, while I don't appreciate getting personal in these columns, I am now living in Udupi and just yesterday gave an account of efficient management of Covid in our gated community. Firstly, we all know the level of advice given since long time. Secondly, we, the undisciplined, are the prime culprits for the current situation of pandemic, only blaming the government. My only suggestion was that the friends and foes should unite during this time of distress and not take advantage of the situation in dirty ways.

    Modi Govt should take advises of opposition seriously and not crave for credit of good times and excuses on blames of disasters. Govt must cooperate and work in good faith and leave the election mode during the crisis. Unscintific ways dealing pandamic is bring nation discredit only, nothing else. Need to save our next generation with good health

Can you explain Fakir's Daku's Neerulli Amma.s Kalla Sanyasi's contribution since they are all in power to do something. As far as I know, Rahul is nor Prime Minister or have any position in Government.

    Matha ki matha, do you have Doctors nearby in Udupi, USA?? I think, many of them advice yo to drink a glass of Cow urine and eat cow dung, mix with Gobar. That is the best medicine a bhakth can take. You do not need medicine at all. BTW, what happened to your Kolar Hospital? Do they have Doctors in Nagpur as well to serve in that Gold Hospital?

    Actually Andh Bhakts like you need to see doctor.... Cow URINE & it's shit can cure Coronavirus was not said by me..... Modi is avatar was not said by me.... Cow gives oxygen... Plastic surgery first did in India... We had aircrafts before Wright Brothers built.... There were satellite, internet... All above was said by ppl who were from Chaddis shaka .... Actually Bhakts need treatment.... But I don't think that any doctors from this world will be able to treat them...
