Dubai: Meticulous Preparations for Vara Mahalakshmi Pooja on Aug 20

Dubai, Aug 16: The preparations are on for vrutha of Lord Lakshminarayana with the volunteers of the Sri Varamahalakshmi Pooja Committee involved in the process.

The worship of the lord is held in the Shravana Shukla Paksha and popularly known as Vara Mahalakshmi vrutha. The religious veneration to be held at Karama Centre Convention Hall here on Friday August 20 is open to all devotees.

The celebration has been organized for the past 3 years with great devotion.

The programme will start at around 4.00 pm with Bhajan Sankeertan by Ladies Bhajan team followed by Pooja Sankalpa by Sumangali, Sri Vishnu Sahasranama recitation and Sri Mahalakshmi Ashtaka Stotra. The archane will be at 7.30 pm with Mahamangalarathi and Shobhane at 8.00 pm followed by Sumangali Araadhane, Kannikaaradhane, Brahmanaradhane and conclude with distribution of mahaprasad at around 9.30 pm.
