Bengaluru, May 19: On behalf of the BJP, a complaint was submitted to the city police commissioner seeking action against the youth 'Congress office bearers. The complaint says that the Youth Congress president, Raksha Ramaiah and activists of his party have been distributing tablets and other medicines without the recommendation of the doctors. The party urged the police commissioner to investigate the complaint and act against the culprits.
The complaint was filed by BJP Yuva Morcha Bengaluru central district unit general secretary, S M Vijendra. He also complained about this issue to the drug controller.
Shivakumar intervenes
Responding to the complaint, Karnataka State Congress Committee president, D K Shivakumar, said that this is a complaint backed by political malaise. He said his party will give a fitting reply to the allegation. "These medicines are given as per the doctor’s recommendation. There is nothing wrong in it. If there is anything wrong, deputy chief minister Ashwath Narayan, should educate us. We will correct ourselves," he commented.
Youth Congress president Raksha Ramaiah, said that the BJP filed this complaint without properly ascertaining the facts. He said that his party will respond to the same in a fitting manner.
