Is high time beyond what is available today, our government come up with serious plans and programs for our elderly, be it health care, finacial benefits for the have nots, welfare schemes, housing schemes, better recreational benefits etc.. Its indeed a necessity for the elders in this modern times of nuclear family set ups where abandonment of the elderly has taken a toll. Desptite seniors care legislation, some children take advantage of the elders, take away the property and neglect them to the core only to end up ib senior care centres and orphanges without the love and that should come from the children has been bought for a price.
A seniors Ministry of the need of the day particulary in these prosperours times where India makes it better and better in economic terms. at national and international levels.
Let us respect the elderly and let the nation honour them and care for them in their times of need and care.
