Mangalore: Vishwas Trust Celebrates Independence Day with Patriotic Gusto

Mangalore, Aug 17: Vishwas Trust celebrated the 64th Independence Day at Vishwas Trust Grounds at 10.00 am.

Trustee Ratna Pinto, the chief guest and facilitator hoisted the National Flag followed by singing of the National Anthem. H N Narasimha, the Yoga master has given a small talk how the brave people fought for India’s independence.  A short talk was given in memory of independence strruggle by Ratna Pinto.

Director Olinda Pereira’s 85th birthday too was held on the occasion by cutting the cake. It was a great moment indeed. Everyone who gathered conveyed their happiness through wishes, flowers and greeting cards. The MSW students made special cards to greet Olinda Pereira.

Various patriotic songs were sung by the people who gathered followed by light refreshments. Jessie Baretto proposed the vote of thanks

Around 100 Vishwas Day centre members, trustees Celine Aranha, Joseph Saldanha and staff of Vishwas Trust and Vishwas, Help Line  were present.
