Udupi: Birthday celebration at police station – 10 cops including SI test corona-positive

Udupi, May 22: Ten police personnel, including sub-inspector (SI) of Padubidri police station have tested positive for coronavirus.

Board school near the police station is temporarily converted as police station. Padubidri police station is sealed down for 24 hours.

All the infected police personnel are placed under quarantine.

A few days ago a birthday party of a police personnel was held inside the police station. All the police personnel had dinner together in the police station itself.

One of the participants got fever within a week of holding the party. When he was tested, he turned positive for Covid. Subsequently when all the police personnel of the police station were subjected for Covid test, 10 including SI have turned positive.

    covid risk higher inside... if a person roams without mask on roads, infection is less likely... gatherings inside houses, small halls, shops with many people inside for considerable time, infection chance rises because the aerosols from the asymptomatic will fill the space... putting the occupants at risk...

    @ Alex,. So you mean to say that the one crore plus people who contracted covid in second wave were regular mask wearers and hence their lung function decreased and contracted covid? We all know that after first wave subsided majority of indians stoppped wearing masks and were recklessly moving around. Going by your logic none of them should have got it then. If all the governments across the world have made it a rule to wear masks ,it's because of an important reason. And when government has made the rule we should obey it for the sake of ourselves and the society.. so be careful about what you comment on public forum like this and urge people not to wear masks.

    I am sad to know that I has happened at Padubidri police station. Police are also human beings like us. But police also has to think that even other common human beings also need enjoyment. But I see many videos, they do not think about common people. I had never experienced in Padubidri so far and hence I pray for their cure immediately without any problems.

    sri-elder karkala ,I just want to say that your even vaccinated people do get infected.It happened in India and here too.Not all cause one doesnt know.Thatswhy one should also be watchful,take care and not jump into conclusion that us happens nothing.Second now Police station people are tested positive ?They simply I feel bought it?didnt care ?and thought noone will come to know noone to arrest,.Hope they will recover fast.

    It proves party has nothing to do with this, usually police stations are crowded with police personnel, they use masks and repeated sanitizers . I had quoted scientific studies showing those who wear masks continuously and those who were vaccinated are more likely to get covid infections as they reduce oxygen levels and increasing carbon dioxide intake thereby lowering immunity. Time to end PCR Pandemic by stopping the tests of people , then everything will be back to normal with just cold and fever bouts in seasonal infections just like we used to have without panic and fear.

    @Dev - as per our understanding, people who were vaccinated are less likely to get infections or even if they get infections then its severity is low and they are likely to recover quickly. Virus attacks everyone equally, but vaccinated people are specially protected

    Sri_elder That's all looks like eyewash! These vaccines if they had come out after mutants and after testing on them, Then it was ok. but these hurried tested and emergency approved vaccines looks like original strain fine but mutants no effect all. That's why so many serious cases and deaths. These Big Pharma knew 2nd wave / 3rd wave like 1918 pandemic why they had to rush for vaccines before the mutants? Now if they release booster after booster to make more money it is not surprising. Or these communist chinese and globalist elites look like releasing one one strain, one each for elderly, youngster, children. That's why brainwashing going on next wave children. Otherwise how virus knows elderly or children or why virus didn't effect children in the first wave?

    Dev. You are absolutely correct. Those who have brains should know while wearing a mask how our lungs get oxygen or pure air? It is only 10% air seeped through upper gap in the mask and rest is 90% carbon dioxide. Our lungs will weaken in the long term wearing of the mask, unless we go out to the fresh air every 5 minutes. Once lungs start getting weaker and weaker , our immunity goes down the drain. Then all our organs start to deteriorate.

    John- these future waves are only predictions and intention is to keep all systems ready. Main problem with india is that they did not crush first wave completely. I mean active cases did not reach zero. We did not kill all viruses. The same problem will continue. We will not crush existing corona viruses and some later point of time new break out happens. Only solution is to recruit more people to health care sector, and they need to work 24 hours. They need figure out all virus carrying people immediately and they need to quarantine 100% and stop the spread. No new cases should appear 30 days. Then country need to watch for imported cases from land boundaries, ships and air ports. Then continue with quarantine process indefinitely. China is succeeding because of that. Their health care professionals worked overtime and they got success. There is no miracle actually. Only need effort.

    @sri_elder, whatever vaccine industries trumpet people accept as truth, The company that markets it's products always will claim big without 3rd party studies proving their claims. Now coming to less severe or not needing hospitalization are lies. In MP 45 fully vaccinated police died after they got infected many weeks after their second dose. I know middle aged healthy people dying due to heart attacks due to blood clots in the arteries supplying blood to the heart. Some had strokes after the jabs. Corona itself doesn't require hospital stay for majority of people, It proves the claim is well disguised lie. I saw some media educated comments for which I needn't answer as I'm not here to wash black cats into white, if they were here from last year they would have got all the answers from my previous comments. They are facts censored and deleted by big Tec repeatedly as they too have invested big in vaccine industries. Waking up people who are unaware is our duty to the people and nation and not to argue with people who are brain washed by relentless media barrage of lies. I have nothing to gain by stating facts and truths, but we are not alone, world wide network is rising up to end this planndemic hoax.

    That is the worst case of corona... Unbelievable spreads like wild fire. From last one month, 1crore positive cases in India and 1lac people died. Stills general public doesn't seems to be worried much. Please wear n95 face masks and transperant face shield which can protect eyes as well from unwanted particles.
