Mangalore: New IGP, SP, for Dakshina Kannada

Mangalore, Aug 19: Alok Mohan has been appointed as the new inspector general (IGP - western range) having its headquarters in the city.

The government has also posted K V Sharatchandra as the new superintendent of police (SP) of Dakshina Kannada district. Incumbent IGP, Gopal Hosur, has been posted as the additional police commissioner (law and order), Bangalore city.

Dr Subrahmanyeshwar Rao, who till now was functioning as the SP of Dakshina Kannada district, has been transferred as the SP of Hassan district.

    our preveious IGP and SP have done a great job in maintaing law and order and it is for sure the next who is taking their place will do better wishing them best and thanking our preveious igp and sp all the best i will always salute you and i am sure the whole of dakshina kanada will do the same.
