Mangaluru, May 24: AKM Ashraf, newly elected MLA of Manjeshwar constituency in Kasargod took oath in Kannada during the first session of the 15th Kerala Legislative Assembly.
Ashraf was elected as MLA after he contested as UDF (United Democratic Front) candidate in recent polls held for Kerala Legislative Assembly.
It may be recalled many MLAs from Manjeshwar, including former minister Cherkulam Abdullah, Qamaruddin had taken the oath in Kannada at Kerala Assembly.
