Mangaluru, May 25: Many nations have been helping India by supplying oxygen, equipment and other medical aids etc supporting the country in its fight against the ravaging Covid pandemic.

The New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) on Tuesday May 25, handled one more navy vessel ‘INS SHARDUL' carrying 11 liquid oxygen tankers, two semi-trailers with liquid oxygen, and 1,200 oxygen cylinders. The equipment was sent by Indian Community Support Group, Kuwait.

Indian Red Cross Society, Dakshina Kannada chairman Shantharam Shett, honorary secretary Prabhakar Sharma and Indian Red Cross Society Karnataka state management committee member Yathish Baikampady received the Consignment. ADGP Prathap Reddy, deputy commissioner Dr Rajendra K V, commissioner of police N Shashi Kumar, DCP Hariram Shanker, ACP Mahesh Kumar and Coast Guard commander Venkatesh were present.

Every counties international relationship depends on its economic interests.. not umma.. gulf countries need indian professionals service.. indian needs jobs it's always two way.. In the next twenty to thirty years demand for the oil is going to deminis, India is investing in technology and looking for independent in every aspect in the future..

Lots of times I noticed in Daiji Forum that some guys were insulting those who work in GCC countries are as good as slaves or gulams. Today same people ( mostly business community) must have willingly contributed to a good cause of Covid 19. Behsharam ki baath ! Wait and watch things may go worse (I do not pray its a notion) Our people entertain too much pride and think themselves the saviors and no one is equal to BJP

Cry for Oxygen everywhere. This minute virus has gained momentum due the dense population in the country. Every effort to contain its progress is being made. It is heart warming to learn that our friendly countries are joining hand in eliminating this poisonous creature. Unless everybody join hands in the process, this is turning to be more dangerous for human life. Started with elders, it is progressing towards younger generation. The movement of this virus to bring death upon human beings is mysterious . Wave by wave it is returning more dangerous. I wonder what is its motive!

My colleagues (Saudi nationals) began laughing at us when they realised the oxygen tankers were covered with reliance ads. I was quite surprised how did they realise. It is the internet age. Kuch bhi chupta nahi hai. It went viral in Saudi. Reliance ko chullu bhar paani mein doob marna chahiye.

@ Jossey Saldanha, Some guys are born rich and some are owning inherited property/land and live a comfortable life simply criticizing and pointing finger at others. No need to work abroad when Royal life is available at their door step. Those who work in the Gulf countries are slaves and now medical aid comes from some of such categories and government is accepting such contribution. uper dekh ke thuk ne wale ko ye malum nanhi ke jo uper thoktha hai oh uska hui muh peh girth hai.

Jossey...Once upon time arabs trawlers hit our shore for help..we didnt refused. We contributed as much as to them. Today also they regard India much inspite we follow different religion. When in difficult time if someone help...it can be remembered for ages..generation after generation..thats what arabs now doing.

Indian business community here are flourishing in their diversified business ventures. This is country where close to Million people are dwelling being bachelor or with family and live dignified though hard way of life in some cases. The government of Kuwait is very considerate to give opportunity for so many people from all parts of our country. Their drivers, office staff, house maids and Managerial positions. . I am one of the luckiest to continue working in the country. I came when i in mid twenties and now a senior citizen. Thank you Lord for every thing of course thanks to host country and people who have given me an opportunity.

Simply waste of money on the Central vista the same money could have been used for the people affected by the pandemic. Thank God no one from the ruling party are present otherwise they would have taken credit for the service of the Indian community from Kuwait. Good move by the Indian community in Kuwait, the Indian community from Kuwait should be grateful to people back home because during the Gulf War times 31 years back the people in India sympathised and also helped the then Indian community from Kuwait.

@ Vicky - yeah a country equipped with Nuclear Weapons & international space program now relying on mercies of middle eastern countries & west for medical aid, built the world biggest statue with tax payers money , collected crores for temple building instead could have built make shift hospitals with 02 facilities during emergency. Remember this it's not because Modi is PM the medical aid was sent it was sent it was based purely on humaneterian grounds that's what every country does during emergency, your PM wasted money on things that were unnecessary things now begging west & east what a sad situation.
