Bangalore, Aug 19: A meeting of the members of the Kanara Entrepreneurs (KE) will be held at The Grand Magrath Hotel, Brigade cross road here on Friday August 20 at 6:30 pm.
Dr Ali Khwaja, chairman of Banjara Academy, is an eminent personality who will give a presentation on parenting covering various aspects of life. Khwaja is a Montessorian, a graduate of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), a qualified ISO quality assessor, a Ph D holder and has never earned a salary cheque in his life.
Officially on the Boards of two universities, visiting faculty or advisor to Defence, Central Government and some of the most prestigious National institutions. He prefers spending time with children, learning rather than teaching, walking into the sunset rather than sitting in an air conditioned room.
A true Banjara, he has no profession. He runs one of the most appreciated and least “recognized” courses in counselling, he motivates and keeps together 200 volunteers working in 10 major hospitals, he is deeply involved in causes as wide as adoption, disability welfare, “true” education, life.
He has made a name by presenting papers in national workshops, having written thirty books on human behaviour, life, children and counselling, and still writes regular columns in reputed publications like Deccan Herald, etc., even editing a unique newsletter on human dynamics called Banjara Life.
Notwithstanding all that, he loves all human beings alike, and his prime focus is on improvement of quality of life. He believes in a mission of helping others to help themselves, and makes himself available to anyone who seeks emotional support or counselling
This programme is one of its own kinds being organized by KE (Bangalore chapter) for the benefits of
its members. The programme is free for all members. Guests shall be admitted with entry fee of Rs 800 per head.

Kanara region. Currently it has become the leading organization with over 58 members including 23
lead members.
Membership is open to any successful business persons, senior corporate executive or senior professional (accredited post-graduate or equivalent to qualification and with at least 10 years of practice in his chosen profession) of Kanara Region with a reputable background who has the willingness to share his strengths with others and the commitment to strive for the betterment of the Kanara entrepreneurs.
