Kundapur: Canara Bank donates generator to Covid care centre constructed by Red Cross

Kundapur, May 25: A generator was donated by Canara Bank from its CSR funds to the Covid care centre constructed by the Indian Red Cross, at BCM hostel, here.

Canara Bank Manipal circle office general manager Rama Naik said that the generator costing Rs 1.85 lac is being donated from the bank’s CSR funds to the health department’s Covid care centre.

Kundapur sub-division assistant commissioner K Raju, taluk health officer Dr Nagabhooshan Udupa, Canara Bank Udupi regional office AGM Kali, divisional manager Rathnaker Ganiga, senior manager Jagadeesh Poojary, Ayush doctor Dr Ashok, Red Cross’s S Jayaker Shetty, secretary Seetaram Shetty, members Ganesh Acharya and Dr Sony D’Costa were present.
