Bengaluru: CM Yediyurappa receives 100 oxygen concentrators donated by WHO

Bengaluru, May 25: Chief minister BS Yediyurappa on Tuesday received 100 oxygen concentrators donated by the World Health Organisation (WHO) for Covid control in Karnataka.

WHO South India team’s regional head Dr Ashish Satpati, Karnataka Centre chief, Dr Lokesh Alahari, deputy chief minister Dr C N Ashwath Narayan, revenue minister R Ashok, health and medical education minister, Dr K Sudhakar, industries minister Jagadish Shettar and co-operation minister S T Somashekar, health department additional chief secretary, Jawaid Akhtar were present when the consignment from WHO was symbolically handed over to the chief minister.

Earlier, the chief minister received 2,000 Covid care kits for the people under home isolation from Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (Kassia) and Bommasandra Industries Association.

Home minister Basavaraj Bommai, KASSIA president K B Arasappa and Bommasandra Industries Association president, A Prasad were present.

    Last i heard about donations it was from Gulf. I don't think WHO even donates anything i am sure those donating would like to know what happened to their donations. Anyway thanks for your help.
